Korean Short Track Skaters Hope for Another Gold

With the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics winding down, Team Korea are pinning their hopes for more medals on short track skating.

Skaters Park Seung-hi, Kim A-lang and Shim Suk-hee are set to go for another gold in the women's 1000-m short track race in Sochi, Russia on Friday after they claimed the title in the 3000-m relay.

As the trio passed the preliminary round of the 1000-m race on Tuesday, hopes are high that one of them might become the first Korean athlete to win two golds at the Games.

Male Korean short track skaters also seek to make a podium finish after they missed out on a medal in the 1000-m and 1500-m events. Lee Han-bin and Park Se-yeong are scheduled to compete in the 500-m race.
