Incheon International Airport won best airport for the ninth consecutive year in the annual Airport Service Quality Awards. Among airports that see 15-25 million passengers per annum, Gimpo Airport ranked first for the fourth straight year.
The awards are given out by Airports Council International, an association of 1,847 airports around the world, for the best airports by region and size based on surveys of users.
Incheon was followed by Singapore's Changi, Beijing Capital International and Shanghai Pudong International. Among medium-sized airports Jakarta came second, ahead of the U.S.’ Tampa and Salt Lake City, and Zurich in Switzerland.
