Korea advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2014 Asian Football Confederation's U-22 Championship by defeating host Oman 2-0 in Muscat on Thursday.
In their third match of Group A Kim Kyung-jung scored the game winner in the 62nd minute and Yun Il-lok added the final nail in the coffin in the 80th.
Korea concluded the group stage with seven points from two wins and one draw. Jordan had the same number of points but topped the group courtesy of a better goal difference.
Korea will face Syria for a berth in the semifinals in the same city on Sunday.
