Shim Eun-ha has been hosting a three-minute radio program for evangelical radio station FEBC, making a tentative return to public after she retired in 2000.
The program has been airing at 1:45 p.m. on weekdays since Jan. 6 and features Shim reading texts with a Christian message.
"She agreed to do it because she sympathized with the cause as a Christian and a supportive listener of FEBC," the station said in a press release. "It does not mean a return to the entertainment business in any way."
Shim, who quit acting after the movie "The Interview," "repeatedly asked us to reject all interview requests so that her work is not misinterpreted as a move to return to showbiz," it added.
