Dutch Coach Hired to Help National Team

The Korea Football Association has hired Ton Du Chatinier as the new assistant coach for the men's national football team. He arrived in Seoul on Wednesday, according to the association.

He managed Dutch club FC Utrecht from 2008 to 2011, and also worked as an assistant manager under Guus Hiddink from 2012-13 at Russian club FC Anzhi Makhachkala.

As such, he has considerable knowledge of European football, including Russia, the first opponent Korea will face at this year's Brazil World Cup.
