While Psy and Crayon Pop may have swept the entertainment world in 2013, first pitches in the Korean professional baseball league also received their fair share of popularity on the Internet.

An elaborate throw by Shin Soo-ji that involved the now retired rhythmic gymnast spinning her leg around in a 360-degree arc was voted the most popular video clip of 2013 on U.S. Major League Baseball's video-sharing site.

The artistic move preceded a game between the Doosan Bears and Samsung Lions in July and even became a hot topic on MLB Network's International Talk show.

Footage of Los Angeles Dodgers' pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin dancing to Psy's "Gangnam Style" inside the club's locker room also featured highly on the same list of top clips for the year.
