2014 to Dawn in Overcast Skies

The last sunset of 2013 and the first sunrise of 2014 are expected to be covered in cloud. The Korea Meteorological Administration said Monday that the country will come under the edge of a high-pressure front causing overcast skies throughout the nation on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Seoul and some central parts will see slight rainfall or snow on Tuesday, a weatherman said.

According to the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute, the sun will set at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday and rise at 7:47 a.m. on Wednesday.

Moderate temperatures are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, ranging between -1 to 7 degrees Celsius in Seoul on Tuesday and between -3 to 5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. Huh Jin-ho at the KMA said mild temperatures will last for the time being.
