LG Electronics said on Sunday it will add its popular "knock" feature to all its major smartphones. The feature enables users to turn off its devices simply by tapping twice on the display.
The move is in line with LG's strategy of providing a quality user experience with features that have been received well in the market.
First introduced in the G2 smartphone that was launched in August, the feature was also included in the G Pad 8.3 tablet PC and the G Flex smartphone, known for its curved display.
LG's L series of smartphones and cheaper models that are already available in the market will also get a specification update to be equipped with the feature next year.
