More than 10 million of Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 phones had been sold in the global market at the end of last month, only two months after its release on Sept. 25, the firm said Monday.
The smartphone comes with a 5.7-inch display and an electronic stylus.
It achieved the milestone even faster than its predecessors. It took the Galaxy Note 1 nine months to surpass the 10 million mark, and the Galaxy Note 2 four months.
The latest gadget is popular in China because users can write Chinese characters directly with the stylus, which is more convenient than the previous method of typing in the Pinyin.
