Lithuanian-Korean Rebeka Kim won Korea its first gold in ice dancing at an international competition on Monday.
Kim, who partnered with Russia's Kirill Minov, earned a combined 130.59 points from the short and free dances in the junior division of the NRW Trophy in Dortmund, Germany to claim the win.
Although the score is not officially recognized by the International Skating Union, it still represents a significant achievement as it exceeded the pair's previous personal best.
Currently ranked world No. 61, Kim and Minov aim to represent Korea at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province.
