Korea's IT exports are growing at a fast pace, with the total amount for the first nine months of the year reaching nearly US$100 billion.
This represents a rise of over 9 percent from the same period last year, far outstripping total export growth of 1.3 percent, according to the Institute for International Trade on Wednesday.
Shipments of semiconductors, telecommunications devices and printed circuit boards rose by the biggest margin. Most exports were bound for China, Vietnam and Hong Kong, but those to the U.S. and Japan declined.
