Korean exports to Japan are being hit by Tokyo's stimulus policies, which are weakening the yen.
The Korea International Trade Association on Tuesday said shipments to Japan dropped by more than 13 percent in August compared to the same month last year.
Exports to Japan have been falling for seven straight months. Further highlighting the contraction, the report shows exports to Japan in August accounted for less than six percent of total outbound shipments. The figure was at nearly eight percent at the start of the year.
