Expectations are high for Korea's upcoming friendly game with Brazil at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Oct 12.
Tickets went on sale on Sept. 27 and are almost sold out except for 3,000 that have been allotted for on-the-spot purchases on the day of the match. At this pace, the stadium could be filled to its maximum capacity of 62,000 for the first time since a match against the Netherlands in 2007.
Korea manager Hong Myung-bo said, "I plan to have K-Leaguers play against Mali on Oct. 15, as they have league matches on Oct. 9. So for the friendly with Brazil, I will be using a number of our players in the European leagues."
