LG Electronics' G2 has been named the most popular Android smartphone in a recent online poll of U.S. consumers, edging ahead of Samsung Electronics' mighty Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3.
Phone Arena, a US-based website that specializes in IT, carried out the survey on Saturday. Some 2,237 respondents, or 28.3 percent, picked the G2 as their favorite model, followed by 1,901 or 24 percent who named the Galaxy Note 3.
Sony's Experia Z1 was third with 18.7 percent of the vote (1,477 people) and HTC's One came fourth with 13.2 percent (1,040). The Galaxy S4 took fifth place with 8.5 percent (676).
