Two Air Force pilots were killed Wednesday afternoon when a T-50 jet trainer they were flying crashed near an Air Force base in the southwest.
The single-engine, two-seater plane was being used for a training exercise when it went down and broke in two. One of the victims was found dead inside the jet while the other was killed while ejecting from the plane using a parachute.
Air Force authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause.
A similar crash involving the same jet trainer killed a pilot in November last year.
