Over 200 million people have visited Everland in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province since its grand opening in 1976, the amusement park said on Monday.
The company said it is just the second Asian amusement park to hit the number after Tokyo Disneyland.
Few of the world's 400-odd major theme parks can claim the same number of overall visitors, with the exception of big-hitters such as Disneyland and Universal Studios.
Some 880,000 people visited Everland in its first year. The cumulative number grew to 10 million in 1983, 50 million in 1994 and 100 million in 2001.
