Korea will have friendly matches with Haiti and Croatia early next month, the Korea Football Association said on Monday.
It will play the Caribbean islanders for the first time ever at Incheon Football Stadium on Sept. 6, and then tune up against the strong Eastern European side at Jeonju World Cup Stadium on Sept. 10.
Haiti is a member of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) and is ranked 74th in the world by FIFA.
Korea, ranked 56th, has an all–time record of two wins, two draws and two losses against world No. 8 Croatia. In their last encounter in London on Feb. 6, also a friendly ahead of Asian qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup, Croatia won 4-0.
