Houston Rockets star Dwight Howard was in Seoul over the weekend on the first leg of his Asian tour to promote sponsor Adidas.
At an autograph-signing event on Saturday, over 1,000 NBA fans flocked to see him in person, impressing Howard with their high level of enthusiasm. It was his second visit to the country since 2006.
One of the best centers in the NBA, Howard was selected as the first overall pick in the 2004 draft by the Orlando Magic. He won the league's Defensive Player of the Year award three consecutive times and is a seven-time NBA All-Star.
On Sunday, he taught some of the game's finer points to a group of 35 young students, passing on some advanced shooting and defensive skills.
