Four Korean Restaurants Feted for World-Class Wine Lists

      Four Korean restaurants have been granted Restaurant Wine List Awards by Wine Spectator.

      As prestigious as Michelin, the traveling gourmet's bible, the U.S. wine magazine classifies restaurants and wine bars around the world into three categories every year, after inspecting their cellars and evaluating their service, cuisine and ambiance.

      La Grotta in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province and Vin.ga in Sinsa-dong, Seoul earned the middle-tier Best Award of Excellence, while 37 Grill & Bar in Yeouido, Seoul and Restaurant 8 in Incheon were given the entry-level Award of Excellence.

      A total of 78 restaurants earned the top-level award, 850 the middle-tier award, and 2,870 the entry-level award. The full list of winners is available at http://www.winespectator.com.
