Actress Kim Go-eun won the Rising Star Award at the New York Asian Film Festival 2013, which was held at the Lincoln Center in New York on Saturday.
She has already swept a number of best new actress awards at various film festivals in Korea after making her debut in "A Muse," directed by Jung Ji-woo, last year.
In her acceptance speech, Kim said, "Thank you so much for inviting me to this festival and giving me this wonderful award. I will keep working hard so as not to let my fans down."
The film festival opened on Friday and will run until July 15.
