Temperatures will drop considerably from Wednesday, bringing over 20 cm of snow to mountainous parts of Gangwon Province and light sleet showers in Seoul and other parts of central Korea.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said the mercury will drop below zero till Thursday morning in central parts.

Normal seasonal temperatures are forecast to return during the daytime from Friday.
