Interior remodeling is underway on an office former President Lee Myung-bak is to open in a 12-story building in Daechi-dong, Gangnam in southern Seoul. The office measures 430 sq. m and Lee apparently plans to use the space to meet guests and work on his future activities.
It will be completed around mid-April, according to a source involved in the remodeling.
As an ex-president, Lee is entitled by law to his own office and three aides. Since leaving Cheong Wa Dae last month, Lee has spent his time rearranging his home in Nonhyeon-dong or going for walks. He has also played tennis twice a week on a court near his home.
