Ex-President to Set Up Office in Gangnam

Interior remodeling is underway on an office former President Lee Myung-bak is to open in a 12-story building in Daechi-dong, Gangnam in southern Seoul. The office measures 430 sq.m and Lee apparently plans to use the space to meet guests and work on his future activities.

It will be completed around mid-April, according to a source involved in the remodeling.

As an ex-president, Lee is entitled by law to his own office and three aides. Since leaving Cheong Wa Dae last month, Lee has spent his time rearranging his home in Nonhyeon-dong or going for walks. He has also played tennis twice a week on a court near his home.
