Car importers will hold a joint job fair for the first time. The Korea Automotive Importers and Distributors Association on Wednesday said the fair will take place on April 5-6 at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, on the sidelines of the Seoul Motor Show.

Thirty-seven members of the association and official dealers will hire new and experienced workers, from marketing staff and to mechanics.

"As the sales of foreign cars grows over 20 percent a year and there’s also skyrocketing demand for services, companies are suffering from manpower shortages," said Yoon Dae-sung of the Association.

Early registration for the job fair is at www.importcarcareerfair.co.kr. On-the-spot registration is also possible. If the fair proves successful, the association plans to hold another one during the Busan Motor Show next year.
