A court has obtained a computer server with the text messages exchanged between the woman who accuses actor Park Si-hoo of rape and the man who introduced them.
Both Park and the man, another actor identified only as Kim, deny raping the 22-year-old aspiring actress.
The Seongnam district court obtained the server records from smartphone messaging service KakaoTalk, which is headquartered in the city south of Seoul.
The move comes after Kim claimed to have exchanged friendly greetings with the woman the day following the alleged rape. The woman admits messaging Kim, but only to protest as she was unsure what to do.
The text messages are expected to play a crucial role in determining whether the woman was raped at Park's home after the three drank in a bar in the upscale Gangnam district.
Meanwhile, the National Forensic Service, which tested blood and urine samples from the alleged victim, said no traces of a date rape drug were discovered. The woman apparently told police that she was surprised by how quickly she became drunk, suggesting that her drink had been spiked. However, traces of Park's DNA were found in the sample test.
