Polish online literature community Granice.pl selected "Leafie, A Hen into the Wild," Korea's best-selling children's story by Hwang Sun-mi, as the pick of the year for 2012 based on readers' votes and reviews by literary critics.

The honor recognizes the book for both popular appeal and literary value.

The Korea Literature Translation Institute sponsored the book's translation into Polish and its publication there.
