Samsung Electronics remains the preferred employer of university students and jobseekers for the fifth year running.

Job search portal site Saramin conducted a straw poll of 2,644 university students and jobseekers earlier this month.

Samsung topped the list of favored future employers with 18 percent, followed by Hyundai with 7.7 percent, identical to the last year's figure and in second place for two consecutive years.

The main reason cited was high salaries.
