Samsung Electronics is expected to unveil the next smartphone in its hit Galaxy series in the first quarter of this year.

Website SamMobile on Thursday said the phone is likely to be launched on March 15 and go on sale as early as April.

The site said the phone will be launched in Europe and Asia before the end of April, and in the Americas, Australia and Africa in May or June.
