Seven out of 10 jobseekers in their 20s and 30s say they will keep looking for jobs during the Lunar New Year's holidays.

An online recruitment portal claims it polled 567 young men and 503 women currently looking for work, and 70.9 percent said they will not stop for the holidays.

Asked to give one or several reasons, more than half of the respondents said they are not taking a break because they are desperate to get a job, and many that they would not be able to relax.

Some were afraid of pointed remarks from their families, while others even welcomed the break so they can concentrate fully on their job search.
