Burmese democratic movement leader Aung San Suu Kyi spent her first full day in Seoul on Tuesday sitting down separately with incumbent President Lee Myung-bak and President-elect Park Geun-hye.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner began her first-ever visit to Korea on Monday. She also attended the opening ceremony of the 2013 Special Olympics in Pyeongchang as part of her five-day trip.
A presidential spokesperson said Lee and Suu Kyi talked about working together in the areas of education and economic development.
President-elect Park agreed to cooperate with her in trying to spread democracy and prosperity throughout the world.
