Milder Temperatures Throughout the Week

Temperatures across the nation will rise more than 10 degrees Celsius this week leading to milder-than-usual weather. The weekend's cold snap is easing as warm southwesterly winds enter Korea along the edges of a cold continental high pressure front, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration.

Morning temperatures will be above zero from Tuesday to Friday in most parts except some mountainous regions in Gangwon Province.

The mercury in Seoul dipped to -8 degrees on Monday morning but will rise to 0 degrees on Tuesday morning and range from 1 to 4 degrees until Friday. Daytime highs are expected to range from 5 to 10 degrees.
