Another cold snap hit Korea on Friday morning with temperatures in Seoul and central parts dropping more than 10 degrees from Thursday.

The mercury in most parts of central Korea fell to -10 degrees Celsius or colder, with a biting wind chill factor making it feel more like -15 to -20 degrees.

The cold snap will continue until Monday morning and then temperatures will gradually return to normal at around 0.5 degrees Celsius, the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast.
