Snow to Be Followed by Milder Temperatures

Over 40 cm of snow was predicted for some mountainous parts of Gangwon Province, and about 1 cm for Seoul.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said although snowfall will stop there is a high chance of icy roads in the capital.

But the KMA forecast that Wednesday and Thursday will be relatively mild, with daytime temperature rising to 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in Seoul. But then the mercury will plummet to -11 degrees from Friday and stay freezing over the weekend.
