Singer Lee Moon-se has been named a promotional ambassador for the upcoming Pyeongchang Special Olympics World Games.
After being appointed, he joined the campaign to promote the event that will take place in Pyeongchang and Gangneung in Gangwon Province from Jan. 29 to Feb. 5 with 3,190 athletes with intellectual disabilities from 111 countries.

Na Kyung-won, chairwoman of the organizing committee, and Lee distributed leaflets, badges and souvenirs to passersby near the plaza on Monday.
Choe Kwang-shik, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and 250 volunteers also pitched in and helped.
