"Les Misérables" became the most successful musical film released in Korea, attracting a whopping 4.7 million viewers.

According to the data from the Korea Film Council on Sunday, the tearjerker has been seen by 4.7 million people as of Saturday, surpassing the 4.6 million who watched the Abba jukebox movie "Mamma Mia."

Also, "Les Misérables" set the record in just 25 days, compared to the 111 days it took "Mamma Mia."
