President-elect Park Geun-hye will be sworn into office in front of the National Assembly building on Feb. 25. Yoon Chang-joong, the spokesman for Park's so-called transition team, announced the decision on Sunday.

Park "has made it clear that she will respect the National Assembly, and the decision reflects that," Yoon added.

But Park is the fifth consecutive president to be inaugurated in the same spot. A number of foreign leaders will be invited to the ceremony.
