Hotel Shilla in Seoul decided to close for six months from Thursday as its rooms undergo renovation. The hotel plans to reopen on Aug. 1.

All rooms and banquet halls used for weddings or conferences will be closed during the remodeling period, but its duty free shop will be open as usual.
