The patent battle between Samsung Electronics and Apple in the U.S. is expanding to include the latest gadgets from the two companies, the Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5.

Bloomberg reported last Thursday Samsung "can add the iPhone 5 to its patent infringement claims" against Apple, "and Apple can add infringement claims against the Samsung Galaxy Note, the U.S. version of the Galaxy S 3 and the Jelly Bean operating system, a federal judge ruled."
