President Lee Myung-bak arrived in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh on Sunday for the East Asia Summit and talks with ASEAN leaders.
He will also attend the regular ASEAN + 3 meeting that includes Korea, China and Japan on top of the ASEAN countries.
Lee meets Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on Monday to discuss economic cooperation and the situation on the Korean peninsula.
There is also apparently the possibility of a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama on the sidelines of the East Asia Summit. Lee next flies to the United Arab Emirates and returns to Seoul on Thursday.
