Newcomer Lee Yu-bi has grabbed the spotlight with her vivacious character in the hugely popular KBS soap "The Innocent Man."
Lee, who is confident enough to raise issues about her acting with the director despite being relatively new to the game, said she loves the days she spends at shooting locations more than her days off.
She said she struggled to decide on the right career path because so many doors seemed to be open for her, and it was difficult for her to decide to become an actress due to the fact that she is the daughter of veteran actress Kyeon Mi-ri.
"My mom worked so hard for me so I could do whatever I wanted to from when I was young. At one point, I wanted to be a news presenter for CNN, as I have good language skills, then I wanted to be a musical singer while studying music at university. My mother never forced me to take up acting as a career. It was totally my own choice. Now I just want to give it 100 percent and make it a success," she said.
