Kim Jung-hwa has published a book of essays, including thoughts on her life as an actress and her volunteer work as an honorary ambassador helping impoverished children as part of the fight against global hunger.
The book contains stories about her personal challenges and frustrations, such as those she has faced as an actress as well as her treasured moments of helping others. Kim also wrote about how she met an African child with AIDS called Agnes in 2009 and the bond of friendship they formed.
"She talks about her life as an actress and her wonderful experiences of helping the less fortunate in the book," Kim's agency 4HIM Entertainment said.
Kim will donate all the proceeds to a charity that helps children with AIDS in Uganda, where Agnes lives.
