Apple on Wednesday lost a patent suit against Samsung Electronics in the Netherlands.

The Hague District Court said neither Samsung's Galaxy smartphone nor the Galaxy tablet PC violates an Apple technology that interprets finger activity on touch screens.

In June, the court also found Apple guilty of infringing Samsung's patent for the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System.
