Korea will not be able to enjoy automatic qualification for figure skating of the host country in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

The International Skating Union at a meeting in Prague earlier this month decided to scrap the rule from 2018.

Currently, the host country of the Winter Olympics has the right to get one player per figure skating discipline into the Olympics automatically.
