Rapper Psy may be able to add a talk at Oxford University to his portfolio of unexpected achievements. The university's historic debating club, the Oxford Union, is currently chaired by Lee Seung-yoon, a student at Hertford College who was its first Korean president of the club in March this year.
Lee, who invited the man behind global hit "Gangnam Style," said, "We got a positive response from Psy, and we hope that his visit to Oxford will materialize when he comes to Britain."
The Oxford Union has an impressive roster of guest speakers on its books, including former U.S. presidents Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon and Jimmy Carter, Mother Theresa, the Dalai Lama, Michael Jackson, and Billy Joel.
Psy is expected to talk about his musical philosophy and the secret of the immense success of "Gangnam Style."
He embarks on a European tour on Nov. 4, which includes the MTV Europe Music Award ceremony in Frankfurt, Germany on Nov. 11.
