Sulli of the popular girl band f(x) has apparently given up her plans to go to university. The 19-year-old, who recently appeared on an SBS TV soap, says she wants to focus on her next album.

Su-zy of miss A also recently announced that she will be skipping college this year to focus on her activities as a singer and actress.

Earlier, singer IU said she would postpone her plans to go to university as she is busy focusing all of her efforts on building her singing career.

The decisions have created a stir in Korea, where education is highly prized and competition for places at top universities is fierce.
