The 17th Busan International Film Festival ended its 10-day run on Sunday.

Organizers estimate that 223,000 people came to watch the showcased movies this year, thus setting a new attendance record for the film gala. A total of 304 films, including 93 movies that premiered in Korea, were shown on 37 screens in Busan.

On the sidelines of the event, 181 production companies from 32 countries took part in a movie industry expo.
