Lee Dae-Ho returned to Korea on Wednesday. He was greeted by the media at the airport upon arrival after arguably the best season any Korean baseball player has ever had in Japan.
He lived up to, and perhaps exceeded, expectations with the Orix Buffaloes. Lee finished with a batting average of 0.286, 24 homers and an RBI of 91, which topped the Pacific Division.
This puts him in strong contention to pick up the league MVP honor as he finished in the top 10 of almost every offensive category.
Lee will catch up with his family and complete a few commercial shoots over the next few days.
