Psy Becomes 1st Korean Singer to Rank No. 1 on U.K. Chart

Korean rapper Psy has now topped the U.K. singles chart with his hit song "Gangnam Style." With his latest feat, he has become the first Korean singer to have a No. 1 song in the U.K.

The track, which made it to the Billboard and iTunes charts in recent weeks, knocked The Script's "Hall of Fame" off top spot in the U.K. -- The Irish band is now at No 2, with U.S. rapper Flo Rida at No. 3 with his single "I Cry."

And that's not all. If Psy manages to hit No. 1 on U.S. Billboard's Hot 100 this week, he will become the first musician from Asia to have conquered both music charts in the U.K. and the U.S.

Psy's "Gangnam Style" music video, featuring the now world-famous "horse-riding" dance, has more than 330 million hits on YouTube.
