Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt, currently on a tour of East Asia to launch the Nexus 7 tablet PC, met Korean singer Psy at Google Korea headquarters in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam for some horse dancing on Thursday.

The meeting took place at Schmidt's request, Google Korea said. "The two spoke for about 30 minutes."
Schmidt said Psy's hit music video "Gangnam Style" made the world focus on Korea. He described Psy as a "hero" who boosted the country's status.
The video went viral on YouTube, which is owned by Google, and has so far racked up some 280 million views.
