Chanel cosmetics will return to Lotte Department Store after the company pulled out nearly four years ago. The French luxury brand will reopen its booth at Lotte's main branch in Sogong-dong, Seoul on Oct. 3, it said Thursday.

The booth will be on the same site as the old one.

Chanel came into conflict with Lotte over space and location in January 2009, and shut down its outlets in seven branches including the ones in Jamsil and Yeongdeungpo. A Chanel spokesperson said they recently reached an agreement after three years of negotiations.
