The Ministry of Health and Welfare on Monday announced plans to revamp its free daycare services and welfare programs.

Under the revised policy, those families in the bottom 70 percent income bracket will receive increased subsidies for children aged five years or younger starting from March. They will be eligible to receive subsidies of between W100,000 and W200,000 (US$1=W1,121) every month.
